All monitors/devices display colours differently and may not accurately reflect the true colour of the item. We do our best to make sure the photos and text depict an accurate representation of the item. We cannot be held responsible for monitor/device discrepancies or their interpretations of colour.
Sometimes larger items may be clipped on our mannequin/models to represent a desired fit. We guarantee the item shown in the photo is the actual item you are purchasing, however we cannot guarantee the item shown on a model/mannequin/hanger/laying flat will provide the same fit on different body shapes.

Garment Measurements

EVERY garment is measured and these measurements form part of our listing and it is your (‘the buyer) responsibility, prior to making a purchase, to compare your own body/garment measurements, with the measurements we provide.
If you are unsure about any of the measurements or the Size Tag attached to the garment, please feel free to contact us via email at info@prelovedforrelove.com, prior to processing the purchase. We are more than willing to explain or provide additional measurements or re-check measurements, if needed.


When you see SIZE APPROX in our listings – this means that we believe either the Size Tag attached to the garment is not quite right, based on the measurements we have taken of the garment.

There are also a number of other factors that can influence our decision to provide size approximations and they are as follows:

· Manufacturing error (ie incorrect size tag attached to the garment)

· Original Size Tag has been removed from garment

· The original Size Tag contains letters eg XXS / XS / S / M / L / XL / XXL, etc

· The brand is from a different country and/or uses a different sizing method

· The garment measurements could fit between two sizes or potentially, fit two sizes

· Size greatly differs between brands

· Alterations – the garment may have been altered by the previous owner
EVERY LISTING states the original Size Tag attached to the garment. The original Size Tag will be provided and then followed by a “To Fit” size, which is the approximated size we suggest the garment will fit. Please note, in cases where the size tag has been removed, we will state ‘tag removed’.
The approximated size we provide, is always based on the garment measurements. We have measured over 5000+ garments and most times we are able to either compare the measurements with other tagged garments to establish an average size OR sometimes fit them on a woman. These measurements form part of our listing and it is your (‘the buyer’) responsibility, prior to making a purchase, to compare your own body/garment measurements, with the measurements we provide.
It is also your (‘the buyer’) responsibility to read all the information provided in the listing, prior to committing to the purchase. Buyers claiming they didn’t read this information, is not a reason to dispute a purchase. We do offer refunds, so please familiarise yourself with our Returns/Refunds Policy.

Inspection & Condition

We love sustainable fashion and we are very particular about the quality of our items.  All of our items are thoroughly inspected. We turn each garment inside out, hold it up to the light, check the stitching is secure at hems and seams, zippers, buttons, hooks and embellishments/applique are checked to ensure they are in working order and/or fixed. Elastic is checked to ensure it hasn’t perished. We look closely at the fabric for any thread pulls / pilling / stains. The majority of our items have minimal signs of wear.
All of our clothes are in wearable condition and we wouldn’t sell anything in a condition that we wouldn’t wear ourselves. We rate each item with a condition ranking.  The condition rankings are defined below:
  • Brand New with Swing Tag: this means the item is in new/mint condition with the swing tag attached (sometimes with/without a price shown)
  • Brand New with Swing Tag with Defect: this means the item is brand new with the swing tag attached (sometimes with/without a price shown), however a defect has been identified, which will be fully outlined in the listing description.
  • Excellent: this means the item is in almost new condition with no obvious flaws
  • Very Good: this means the item is in a gently loved condition, sometimes with minor signs of wear or flaws


Payment is accepted via Paypal.  We will accept bank deposits, on special request.
If you need to pay via bank deposit, please send an email to info@prelovedforrelove.com, so we can provide you with our banking details and any other special instructions.
Please note, we will not send any items until payment has cleared into our bank account.

Postage & Handling

All orders are sent within Australia, via Australia Post.

Postage is charged at $8.25 for standard delivery in a 500g Parcel Post Satchel with tracking (for one item per order).

Additional postage options are available, as follows:

$10 – Express Post 500g Satchel (with tracking) (for one item per order)

FREE Local Pickup (Canberra) – if you live in Canberra, and wish to pick up your item/s, please select the Free Local Pickup option in your shopping cart, finalise payment or choose cash on pick up and then contact us via email at info@prelovedforrelove.com to arrange a mutually agreed time for collection.

Additional postage options are available for multiple items per order, as follows:

Should you wish to buy more than one item in a transaction, please choose your preferred postage option for “multiple items per order”, in your shopping cart.  If you do not choose the correct postage for multiple items, we will contact you to provide payment for the shortfall, to cover the cost for the multiple item per order postage rate. Orders that are received with the incorrect postage for multiple items, will not be dispatched until the correct postage has been paid.

Parcel Post satchels can take between 2 to 6 business days for delivery (not including public holidays). Please refer to Australia Post’s website for more detail on delivery times.

Express Post satchels are guaranteed next business day delivery via Australia Post delivery network. If your postcode is not included in Australia Post’s delivery network, your item will take an additional day or so to be delivered. Please refer to Australia Post’s website for details on postcodes included in the guaranteed next business day delivery network.

All satchels can be tracked (using the tracking number we provide you) via Australia Post’s website at: https://auspost.com.au/track

Your order will either be dispatched the same day as payment (ie time permitting), or the next business day.

Please note, once your order has been lodged with Australia Post, we are not personally responsible for late, undelivered, lost or damaged mail, during the transportation and delivery process. We will however always try to assist you, where possible, to investigate late, undelivered or lost mail.

Returns / Refunds

We love being able to provide quality preloved (secondhand) fashion online and want to make the experience as straightforward and pleasant for everyone.
We encourage you to ask any questions prior to buying. We will reply to your message as soon as we can.
We will accept returns and process money back refunds* on the item price only. Postage costs are not refundable.
Please notify us via email at info@prelovedforrelove.com within THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS of receiving the item/s, so that we can provide with our address and outline the returns process.
The item/s must be returned to us in the same condition as they were sent (ie unworn and undamaged – other than any known flaws).
The item/s must be returned via a tracked Australia Post Parcel Post satchel ($8.50) and the satchel MUST be lodged at an Australia Post outlet, as a receipt will be provided as proof of lodgement.
Refunds will be processed as soon as the item has been returned and we have re-inspected the item to ensure there is no additional damage.
Refunds will be provided via the initial payment method used. We do not provide refunds via cash, cheque or money orders.
